  • Eat healthy. What you eat reflects on your skin. Eat green leafy vegetables for fiber, good blood circulation, and supple skin. Dark leafy vegetables and dark colored fruits are rich in antioxidants, which help delay skin aging.
  • Remove make up. Don’t put yourself to bed with your makeup on. Overnight makeup clogs your pores, causing pimples, white and blackheads, and oily face. Use natural oil in removing your makeup or simply wash your face with water.

  • Drink lots of water. For average body type, it is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water. Depending on your activities, you can even consume up to 10 glasses. If you sweat a lot, like if you’re engage in outdoor activities, it is recommended to drink more.
  • Avoid sun exposure. UV rays from the sun causes your skin to age and wrinkle. Keep away from the direct sunlight. If it’s hard not to be exposed, you might consider applying sunscreen.
  • Increase beta-carotene intake. Beta-carotene is found from green, red, and orange fruits in vegetables. You can find them in carrots and tomatoes. You may find that carotene is one of the primary ingredients of anti-aging supplements, cosmetics, and collagen regenerating products.
  • Switch sleeping position.  Sleeping on only one side of your face will cause wrinkles. As you get older, you’d notice that the face touching the pillow when you sleep has more wrinkles than the other one. So this is the right time to switch position. Better, sleep on your back so you won’t wrinkle your face at all.
